Perth Holiday

These are some photos taken from our time in and around Perth I've got 2 camera's so sadly I don't seem to be able to put them in order.
After the wedding we went sightseeing. We went thru the Karri Forests and 3 of the Tree's you could climb to the top!!!!!!!!! Lew couldn't believe that you were able to do it without ropes! Basically if you fell you would've hurt yourself bad. They were from 50 to 80 meters! The ladder slowly went around the trunk. As he got nearer the top of one of them it was just about a vertical climb! He came down from the 1st one and said "Well that's my adrenaline rush for the day! He said he was a bit shaky! We also went for a tree top walk
We visited some of the south east beaches, these were the Elephant Rocks
The sand here at Albany was like powder, Shame we didn't get a fine day to enjoy it. They seem to have a bigger variety of plants growing in the sand

This is the Famous Busselton Jetty that's the longest timber built 1 in the world 1840 m
Leila MacDonald came over with us
These are taken at Fremantle. Lew was keen to have a look at where America's Cup Boats left from

There were a lot of Old neat buildings there
This is in Perth. As we were getting on a ferry to take us on the Swan River

 Perth Sky line
This was taken up at Kings Park that looks down on the city I loved the Trunks on these big beautiful trees
We stayed with Andrea and Barry Rose They took us out for the day. We called into this beach that had a display of awesome sculptures

 Bree Barry Andrea and I
We had a drink with Jenny just before we left for home
Flying over to Perth we saw these Salt Lakes?

We called in for a drink on the way down to the wedding
This is Margaret Clarke's sisters shop:-) I bought a pink cushion for my pretty room
 More Tree top walk
At Dunsborough where we stayed for the wedding. We'd walked in the mornings and saw these Pelicans

We stayed a night at Bunbury and went for a walk at sunset:-) What an awesome Lighthouse!

 In Perth's center city

Really enjoyed all your pictures from Perth Merle. Looks like you had a great holiday. What a brave husband you have climbing that tree!! I would have been freaking out just watching from the bottom! I LOVE that little shop you went in - you ONLY bought a pillow?!!!! So much to look at - I could see a few things I would love to have bought too!!! Looks like you had nice sunny weather - we could use some spring like weather here - been snowing off and on every other day and a huge dump of 50 cm on the Coquihalla Hwy yest, however,....... they say the warm weather is coming this weekend!! Had a good chat with Roxy the other day - miss them and its too bad all the kids couldn't get together but, alas, everyone is so far apart!! Maybe we'll get to see you in the summer when you're over (hopefully)!!!!
