Our trip to Aus

Lew and I went over to Queensland to have a visit with our friends and rellies:-) We had a wander in Brisbane before heading up to Townsville

Andrea took us for a drive to Crystal Creek I just loved it here, the water was crystal clear and just beautiful to swim in:-)

We then drove down to Justin and Louise's to Nebo. Anne was there too. Here's the famous Nebo Pub that we had a delicious meal at

Justin took us for a ride out to some of the mines he works at. We were able to have a look at some of the enormous machinery he works on!

Then we went down to Noosa to Cathy and Leon's

Cathy hired Paddle Boards which we had fun on:-)

We went out to Towoomba, we had lunch with  our old friends Mac and Karen and Margaret Baartz

We stayed the night at Lucinda's. Mia and Aiden have grown lots:-)

We stayed at Anna and Geoff's lovely new place in Brisbane :-) They took us out to see some of the sights:-) Kaisha was having a sleep over:-)

We had delicious Hot chocolate to finish the night off

Nick and Mel Kaisha Coen and Jaya came around for a visit

Our good friends Jenny and Pete came to visit and it was Pete's birthday so I made a special dessert:-)

Lew and I woke 1 Saturday morning to a cracker day so we thought we'd make the most of it. We headed over on the ferry to Waiheke and hired scooters to ride around the Island:-) We had an awesome day:-)

We stopped at Te Whau Cafe for a delightful lunch

Had some lovely walks on some of the beaches

Unfortunately we got to Mudbrick Winery and they were closing due to a function about to start

Rob and Junia came back from Boundary Waters so I was fortunate to get a spare seat for the ride :-) There were clear blue skies all the way up and back:-)
