AUGUST was the BIGGIE

I'm not sure if I'll ever get this blogging 100% right! I found these Aus photos after I'd up loaded the others so once again these are out of order. But I still wanted to put them in:-)

Daniel and Jo Gabriel and Samantha came over to NZ to visit Grandfather. Doesn't Dad look so good in these photos:-)

We went into the City to the Viaduct area to see what they'd developed for the World Cup. It's pretty cool in there:-)

Birthday Time:-) We went out to the French Cafe for our family dinner to celebrate my half century! It was a really lovely dinner with lots of wonderful flavours which we all really enjoyed. Brandon thought it was the best Dining experience he'd ever had:-) Especially when they helped his get his jacket on after the meal:-) The service was pretty good. And of course so was the company:-)

The morning of my birthday carrying on the tradition of parcels in bed:-) But the best and sweetest came from my Husband when he wrote 50 things he loves about me:-) I'm sure he had to do lots of scratching of the head:-)

My very good friend Anna came all the way from Aus to share the girls weekend we had. So we had to do a spot of shopping on our way to the mount

At our morning cafe stop Leverne gave me this wooden 50 stand. The girls all wrote a birthday message on it:-)

We all went for a walk around the Mount, well unfortunately not Liz as she had a dose of the flu!

Liz came to watch me opening my presents but the girls didn't want to catch her bugs so they wrapped her up:-)

Liz gave me this apron that has my husbands dream wish list on and the beautiful gummies:-)

Jenny gave me this pretty jug without even seeing my pretty room:-) It fit perfectly

July update too

My Little Grandie turned 2 on the 28th

I managed to delete this photo of our 50's party

I've managed to put this out of order too. Cathy came up for a few days to see the sights of Auckland so we had great fun when we set off to walk up Rangitoto.

During the school hols Jess and I went down to Masterton to see Grandfather and on the way back we got snowed in at Ohukune:-) The kids had lots of fun building a ramp to snowboard down.

When they got up the mount the next day it was a cracker:-)

June update

The month seemed to fly by but the only photos of note are of Rob and Junia's 60th Wedding Annivesary on the 5th June. We had an Open House for afternoon tea for them which we all enjoyed.
